February is over with, not a single blog entry by me. I have lots of excuses -- busyness; blues, blahs, bored. I'm still not feeling very creative, so I'm going to steal an idea from my friend, Catch Her In the Wry.
Here’s a meme that’s been going around. It’s called the bucket list. You have to review all 100 items and put in bold the ones you’ve already achieved in life. So, here is my bucket list (kind of the opposite from the movie, The Bucket List, which was a list of things you still wanted to achieve before you kicked the bucket. It was not a very good movie, but did have three pieces of wonderful advice for older men, which I won't repeat here):

There's a lot on your list that I haven't done but I counted 16 things that I did that you did NOT. So what's the point? Interesting but who's list is it?
John,
I'm glad to see you are writing on your blog again. I kept clicking on during February, and missed not seeing anything. Maybe March will be a better month for writing. Take care and keep writing.
Linda
Crockhead,
Just curious; What, of those things that you have not done, would you like to do or accomplish?
Okay, Anonymous, I'll bite, but you'll have to tell me what 16 things you did that I didn't. I would like to do 3,4,13, 17, 20 (definitely), 28, 32, 37, 38, 43, 44 (definitely not 46 and 47 would be about as bad), 49, 50, 51, 55 through 60, 62, 63, (definitely not 65, for fear it would lead to 77 and 46) 66, 68, 74, 80, 81, 83, (I don't know about 89 -- maybe if it was necessary, but I wouldn't want to be in a position for it to be necessary), 90 (definitely not 94), and 100. How about you?
You probably don't want to know, but the things on the list that I have NOT done are:
11, 13, 27, 28, 32, 34, 38, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 56, 59, 61, 65, 66, 72, 74, 76, 83, 90, 100.
I think you should count "Had a baby" because you have done that. Fatherhood counts.
And I've lost so many jobs I probably should get extra credit. I wonder if people who have never lost a job can understand what it can mean.
I've done less than more. haven'ts= 56. :(
I haven't checked back in a while. So it's 18, not 16 I did that you did NOT: 4,20,22,23,32,38,47,49,51,63,66,69,
72,77,81,87,89,90. As far as #75 I "lost my job" though I know exactly where it went (a misnomer isn't it?) - not quite "fired" when a company is going under.
It's a cold, rainy day here so I'll think about the list and what I should tackle next.
