California Surprise

I promised this is not going to turn into a political blog. But this really surprised everyone; the wife of Arnold Schwarznegger, Republican governor of California who has endorsed John McCain, coming out unexpectedly at an Obama rally with a great speech. Watch.

Thank you for posting this video. I didn't know about it and I'm inspired by it. Thank you.

I happened to come across the full video on TV yesterday in my Sunday afternoon browsing. I was impressed with Michele Obama's strong and confident delivery of her speech that preceded Maria Shriver. I had not had the opportunity to hear her speak so I was very impressed.

well, if Hillary wins, she will certainly have earned it

I was impressed by Michelle Obama, too, Becca. If Hillary is qualified to be president by virtue of being married to the president, then why not Michelle Obama in eight years. I would certainly vote for her to be the first woman president.

Interesting comments . . . I love Michelle because I have girlfriends like her -- South side black women, okay? Tough, funny, hardworking and smart as they come. She's certainly not a rare bird, and I find it amusing (and kind of sad) that people are so amazed by her.

Thanks for posting; i missed this while on vaca. (I did vote for Obama before i left tho!) Unfortunately he didn't win CA so i hope she is wrong about whoever wins CA. maybe not this time since it's so close. So it's fine by me if you turn this into a political blog.
