A Crockhead Extravaganza

We're about to head for Gatlinburg, TN where all the Crockheads are getting together for four days in a big seven-room cabin that sleeps 30 people. We will have 27. You can see pictures here. We plan to have a Crockhead Film Festival and Argument. If there is internet access and time, I will blog during the festivities. Merry Christmas, everybody.

Betty, are you McBetty? The Smokies are lovely. Unfortunately we had to crawl through miles and miles of schlock to get to our cabin, which was near the top of a lovely mountain, surrounded by dozens of other cabins. Pigeon Forge, which is the closest town to where we were, is virtually indistinguishable from places like Branson, MO, Wisconsin Dells, WI and Wal Mart for an abundance of abundance. If you looked towards the skies, and not around you, the views were fine. The cabin literally held 30, but would have been more comfortable with just 15. We enjoyed being with our family. We enjoyed even more getting home.
